    Good grief, I’ve never heard that term before, but it sure looks like someone went out of their way to make their neighbours miserable.

    I’ve heard of planting or cutting down trees out of spite, building taller fences out of spite, not repairing a mutual fence out of spite, and even planting obnoxious landscaping out of spite …but to build a house out of spite means someone has too much time or money or needs to see a psychiatrist.
